THE WEEPING WILLOW
Welcome to our lovingly restored 16th century modern country pub, kitchen, garden and lodges in Barrow - just six miles from
Bury St Edmunds.
With fun yet elegant interiors and a delicious modern British menu, The Willow has become a popular setting to eat, drink and relax at the heart of the local community.
Our Willow Lodge rooms are now open providing the perfect place to relax and unwind in the Suffolk countryside.
FOOD AND DRINK
Our menu aims to cater for everyone (including children) using locally and seasonally sourced produce; from Snacks to pub classics to delicious desserts. All dietary requirements are considered in the design of the menu.
Our bar’s all about choice - whether you’re in for a proper pint, a glass of something chilled, or something a bit more celebratory. We’ve got a selection of ales alongside familiar favourites, with a few carefully chosen local options in the mix. It’s an easy, relaxed space - perfect for a quick drink or settling in for the evening.
STAY A WHILE
The Willow experience can last a little longer with our lodges set back in the meadow behind our pub.
Our 7 lodges blend seamlessly into the landscape with the natural feel continuing into the interiors. Earthy tones and neutral linens, pops of olive and a rustic french farmhouse feel create a calming retreat, where floor to ceiling glass blurs the line between indoors and out.
Amenities in our bedrooms include flat screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, WIFI and Connock England products.
Each lodge is versatile welcoming families, couples, friends and, of course, most of our lodges are dog-friendly.
DOGS WELCOME
Wagging tails will always be welcome through our door. So much so, that we have created a special dog menu, with your four-legged companion in mind.
Our special doggy areas include the bar, snug, raspberry room and of course anywhere in our large garden.
Our team members are always on hand with doggy treats and tips for the best dog walks in our area.
